Spent some time outside of city limits a couple of days ago to test out my friend Mark's new BMW Z4 Roadster convertible (which he let me drive at speeds topping 95 mph, I love speed). We got up to Rhinebeck and did a whole lotta nuthin... which is just the way I like it.
*
Half the fun being the drive itself, right? I created a playlist before we headed out, and on the drive I played him some new music from The Rapture, DJ Shadow, and Be Your Own Pet which he kept saying "oh shit" in response. I think he was pretty wowed by how a few tracks on the new DJ Shadow album completely throws you for a loop. Unexpectedly ethereal in comparison to the other tracks which are unapologetically in-your-face thunderous hip-hop tracks, these tracks are the result of some really gorgeous collabos and vocals.

But since I'm not posting any of it that today -- sorry but I will be posting soon -- I'll treat you with a little mixtape perfect for a long drive called "that B.I.G. mixtape" [mp3] mixed byDJ/producer my!gay!husband!. You can also check out his myspace here.

Hi Sunny,
Can you let me know how I can break into A&R? Internships? Start in a different department and work into the A&R department? Gain experience in a studio?
Thanks and peace

I admire and I'm quite astonished by your wide taste in music. I had figured you for an electronic music buff, which I believe you are, but unlike most other blogs who rarely deviate from one genre of music, you listen to lots of hip-hop, rock, electronica, dance, and trip-hop. I love it all but like a good shuffle mix, a good cross-section of genres is required lest you get bored really fast.
Keep up the great work and thanks for allowing me to enjoy your work on a daily basis.
From Australia.

now that's not fair. how can all of us in the blogosphere compete with that! I guarantee you if I have a photo of myself topless in the woods it's not goin to get the same reaction

Hahaha!!
I read your blog every day, Craig, so imagine what would happen if you posted a manly bare-chested photo of you?

Has anyone noticed the beautiful tummy. Looks silky smooth.
Nice hips. I like that.
As much as a man likes to squeeze and run his hands over a woman's breasts, it's just as nice to run a hand over that sweet curve. This image won't allow us to see those jean-covered legs, but my guess is they're long, curvy, and tender near the inner-thigh. mmmm.

Agreed. I think her curves are absolutely beautiful. Smooth and soft and touchable. Her female form is gorgeous.
