Not too long ago, PolloxNiner's tagline used to be: "Been Partying Too Much And Now I'm Trying So Hard To Stay Awake..." Needless to say, I've had to master the art of sleeping with my eyes open.
*
However, those days are over... I mean, sorta.
*
It's not that I don't go to parties and have a grand ole time, sure I do. But it just doesn't appeal to me as much as being one-on-one or with a small group of friends doing stupid shit. What kind of stupid shit? Like letting two guys cut my hair at the same time last night. (From the front it looks fine but I hope to God that the two sides are actually even from behind.) But a good party really depends on who's there, what the music is like... all the right factors need to be in place or else it's bust. Of course, I'm saying all this after Friday night's shindig which was crazy stupid fun. No details of that party shall ever be spoken of. (Right Meredith?)

Speaking of party girl, I spent much of the weekend with my family for Mother's Day and chatted up my mom. She never ceases to amaze me. Yesterday, she starts talking about music and how she's looking for some Tiefschwarz. TIEFSCHWARZ!?? Mom?? So we went shopping and bought her a crap load of music including The Knife, Carl Craig, Alan Braxe, Todd Terje, and Riton. I guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, huh?
*
So... this is for my mom:
Electronic - "Getting Away With It (Extended Version)"
Todd Terje - "Eurodans"
Riton - "Angerman (Riton Re-rub)"
*
The Riton "Angerman re-rub" is pretty wicked, and I love how it just creeps up on you and then explodes into some full-throttle mindfuck. It's all lightning and thunder whereas Todd Terje's "Eurodans" is like light rain. Different but completely complimentary to each other. Electronic's "Getting Away With It" is just a great song that I know she likes so there.

who cut your pretty long hair? if this scenario involves jordan, just be lucky that he didn't shave "go bears!" in the back of your head.
of course your mom rules.

it's about 5 or 6 inches shorter than it used to be. and don't think i didn't check the back of my head after the hair cut for any weirdness.

i'm in my mid-twenties and i can't party and get drunk and do all that shit like i used to. it's more that i just don't feel the need to anymore. even if it means losing out in meeting all the hotties and dancing with them real close.

bet you look like hotness with your short hair.
