I couldn't think of a better way to start my morning off at the office after 3 short hours of sleep than with a dose of Ghostface Killah. I've been listening to his latest album Fishscale for weeks now and it's pretty dope through and through. If you haven't picked it up yet, do so and treat yourself to the flavors of Pete Rock, J Dilla, and MF Doom, among others. Plus, who else raps about the finer merits of his woman like Ghost?

I'm only of the lucky souls who's actually scored Radiohead tickets (I'm laughing on the inside), and I'm damn proud of it too. I've been sitting back and watching the blogosphere swell with an onslaught of Radiohead tracks (live! rare! acoustic! unreleased!) and I've become almost white-knuckled in restraining myself from posting yet another. But I can't anymore. I'm about to explode. But I figured I'd do it slightly different.

Big fan of Frou Frou. Slightly bigger fan of Imogen Heap, and of this particular song which, in this incarnation, is live and acoustic (piano) and completely beautiful. Personally, I can relate to this song as I've been thisclose to having a breakdown myself.

And to leave you dancing for the rest of the day, I have this utterly bonkers Serge Santiago remix of Sunshine Underground's "I Ain't Losing Any Sleep." Love the original but the remix is superb. Just check it out but don't tell anyone you got it from me.

I haven't had in a drink in two weeks, haven't done any sort of hanging out really. I've been super-focused. In fact, it's been this way for the past month since coming to terms with the fact that I need to work even harder, faster, better to achieve my goals. And I can only party as hard as I work. Which means that I'm going to party this weekend like it's the fucking end of the world. Woohoo! The Femme Generation boys blow into town -- they're playing a show at Pianos tomorrow night and open for Bishop Allen at his EP release show and party. Oh god, it's going to be a good show and Aaron promised me that he'd work on getting Bernard to scissor trip John on stage. Hahaha! Then we're gonna get tanked. More on this tomorrow.

Is it possible to not drink for a month straight? That's some determination!
I love Imogen Heap. Thanks for the mp3s!

And for pete's sake, get some rest. Or rather, go party like you deserve it!
